I’m Beastly. Some people call me Alexander Cheves.
I am a writer, editor, copywriter, freelance illustrator, and sex educator in New York City. My work has appeared in Out Magazine, VICE, Them, Plus, The Body, Hornet Stories, and many other publications. In 2016, I launched the sex column “Sexy Beast” in The Advocate, the longest-running LGBTQ+ magazine in the United States.
In August 2020, I signed a two-book deal with Unbound Edition Press. My first, a collection of essays, is scheduled for release in the fall of 2021.
I’m 5’9″, brown and brown, half-Deaf, and my pronouns are he/him/his. I usually call my sexuality “fluid,” but if you want to get specific, I’m pansexual, which means I’m sexually attracted to all genders. Most of my experience is with men. I am sex-positive, irreligious, and have many kinks. I love cupcakes, working out, philosophy, dogs, tattoos, fountain pens, reading, and vintage gay porn magazines.
