My nickname is Beastly. My professional name is Alexander Cheves.
I’m a writer, editor, copywriter, illustrator, and sex educator currently living in New York City. My work has appeared in Out Magazine, VICE, Them, Plus, The Body, Hornet Stories, and many other publications. In 2016, I launched the sex column “Sexy Beast” in The Advocate, the longest-running LGBTQ magazine in the United States.
In August of 2020, I signed a two-book deal with Unbound Edition Press. My first, a collection of essays, is scheduled for release in the fall of 2021.
I’m 5’9″, brown and brown, half-Deaf, and my pronouns are he/him/his. I usually call myself “sexually fluid” or “pansexual,” which means I’m sexually attracted to all genders. My community is queer.
I love tattoos, working out, books, fountain pens, dogs, porn, art, philosophy, sociology, cupcakes, and kink.
